ANIMATIC EDITING

Editing an animatic is an essential step in production and is the first time an animated film is seen end to end. It requires an understanding of storytelling, video and audio editing and an ability to collaborate with the rest of the team.   The course is for anyone who already knows quite a bit about editing - perhaps you come from a live-action editing background and are interested in learning more about editing for animation, or perhaps you’re an assistant editor in the animation industry looking to step-up. Whatever your background or circumstance, we’ll assume you already know your way around editing software and will instead delve into editing techniques specifically for animation.
